During the session the client is lying on a massage table. If this is not possible due to discomfort, the client can elect to sit in a chair. The practitioner gently places their hands in various designated positions on the front and back of the client's body.
Life Force energy flows within the physical body through the energy centers called Chakras. Each Chakra regulates the organs in its area. Chakras are very important focal points of balance within our energy system, since they are points of maximum energy intake.
A session may also be performed without touching the client. There may be times during a session when the practitioner is guided to work above the client in their energy field.
Reiki is a non-manipulative and non-invasive technique.
The client remains fully clothed while soft relaxing music plays in the background.
Beneficial effects include: relaxation, feelings of peace, security and well-being.
